The future growth of the South African economy largely rests on the shoulders of entrepreneurs.
To become a leading force in South Africa’s economic transformation by empowering small businesses to become engines of sustainable growth, employment, and community upliftment. This is about helping the needy and giving people a chance not to be
ordinary but extraordinary.
In this world we see a lot of people suffering from poverty, lack of
education and shelter. The list is endless…
We are going to give people a chance to make a difference in the world;
the little you will contribute will make a difference in someone’s life.
“You don’t have to be rich to make a difference”, that is what we have
just recently learned and decided to start now, we want all of you to join me
and help me with ideas and ways to make other unfortunate people’s lives
easier.

To identify, support, and nurture high-potential entrepreneurs and small enterprises through funding, mentorship, capacity building, and strategic partnerships. We are committed to creating inclusive economic opportunities that break cycles of poverty, especially among youth, women, and historically disadvantaged communities. We aim to assist black owned and black women owned SMMEs to grow and become financially and operationally independent.
To date, we have funded and supported several small businesses across Limpopo and beyond. These businesses — in sectors ranging from agribusiness to catering, events, e-commerce, and manufacturing — have not only survived the odds but are now thriving contributors to their local economies.
We provide micro and small-scale funding to qualifying businesses with high growth potential. Whether you need startup capital, equipment, or production inputs, our tailored funding models aim to get your business off the ground and keep it growing.
A Word from Our Chief Patron: Morgan Mohlala As someone who once stood on the dusty streets with nothing but a dream and a few rands in my pocket, I understand the resilience, determination, and daily battles that come with starting and sustaining a small business in South Africa. The Morgan Mohlala Foundation was born out of that very experience — out of the desire to see more entrepreneurs succeed, especially those who have the ideas but lack access to capital, networks, and mentorship. I am living proof that success is possible — but no one should have to do it alone. This Foundation is my way of giving back, of opening doors for others the same way doors were once opened for me. When we support small businesses, we don’t just fund individuals — we fund families, communities, and the future. Let us build a South Africa where dreams are not deferred, and potential is not lost. Let us support those who dare to create.
Morgan Mohlala Foundation has donated to various causes including businesses and various community members.
